Registered Charity 523311
Wilberfoss, Kexby & Newton Playing Fields Association (the PFA), is a charity of dedicated volunteers. The 7-acre site provides senior and junior football pitches, outdoor tennis courts, a Sports Pavilion, and ample car parking. Contact details for the village sports clubs are available under the 'Useful Contacts' page of this website. In addition, the PFA provides and maintains the play equipment in the village play areas.
The Sports Pavilion, equipped with a licensed bar and kitchen, serves alcohol and food.
With a focus on fundraising, the Pavilion and grounds have undergone significant improvements since 2010. Enhanced floodlighting and CCTV have raised safety standards, complementing the four Football Foundation-approved changing rooms at the Sports Pavilion. Additionally, the inclusion of a table tennis table and various trim trails has enriched the recreational facilities on site.
If you're inspired by the work of the PFA and would like to get involved, please contact John Spencer, the PFA Chairman.
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Olympic/Paralympic Mural & Community GardenThe Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics inspired three youngsters from Wilberfoss CE Primary School to create a community space that won them first prize in a Humberside Police initiative. The Humberside Police Lifestyle Project encourages children to make a difference in their community, and their project earned them a trip to Florida!

The girls received invaluable support from Wilberfoss Parish Council and Wilberfoss Playing Fields Association, who installed the table tennis table. Wilberfoss in Bloom also contributed by designing and planting the wildlife garden.
Wilberfoss Jubilee Play AreaBetween 1999 and 2003, a dedicated group of volunteers raised funds to transform the old wooden play area, renaming it The Wilberfoss Jubilee Play Area in honour of the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Their efforts were supported by numerous families and local businesses who generously sponsored lengths of the fencing around the site.

The grass is maintained by the Parish Council, while volunteers from the Playing Fields Association are responsible for safety issues.
